State Rep. Tom Murt was sworn in last week to his seventh term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

“It has been an honor to serve the people of the 152nd District, and I will continue to fight for our schools, our taxpayers and for those who are voiceless,” Murt said.
During the last legislative session, Murt continued his advocacy for those with special needs, and addressed the state’s drinking water issue by working to reduce the allowable amount of the contaminant PFAS to undetectable levels.
This session, Murt will chair the Aging and Older Adult Services Committee.
